Zero Server Risk - Included
iSERVE is responsible for all hardware management, maintenance and necessary replacement including parts and labour at iSERVE’s expense. Hardware and network uptime is guaranteed one Hundred Percent. See 'Zealous! Support and Uptime Guarantee' pages for detail.
Mixed Operating System Deployment - included
iSERVE sources and deploys, operating system, as selected by customer. For software service descriptions see 'Software Service' pages.
Hardware Resource Scalability - included
Customer can request allocation of further hardware resource to their dedicated virtual server giving instant scalability options for CPU, Disk, Ram, Bandwidth, Onsite and Offsite Storage.
Remote Administrative/Root Access - included
Customer has full administration access to selected server.
Static IP Address - included
iSERVE provides one managed static IP address, per server. Further IP addresses or IP ranges are available on request.
Bandwidth Monitoring and Alerts - included
Utilisation data is supplied to customer real-time. Automated monitoring technologies provide customer with email alerts if traffic usage exceeds a set percentage of its allocation.
Redundant Internet Supply - Included
Connectivity is provided via multiple suppliers, delivered as Gigabit and fast Ethernet. These circuits are laid via geographically diverse paths.
Proactive Support - Optional
Day to day operations are monitored supported and responded to by iSERVE. Proactive support includes phone and email system administration support, operating system patch management and monitor and respond. See 'Zealous! Support and Uptime Guarantee' pages for detail.
Bandwidth - Bursting International and Unlimited National Traffic - optional
Data plan is allocated to suit customers needs allowing measured and reported international traffic with unlimited national traffic with acceptable use policy in place. Customer has access to real time traffic statistics to track usage.
Additional Static IP Address Management - optional
iSERVE manages and supplies customer with multiple addresses or an IP range.
Gigabit Ethernet Network Connection - optional
The standard 100Mbps network connection is upgraded to 1000Mbps allowing fast networking for multi-server deployments.
Managed Firewall - optional
The deployment and ongoing maintenance of a managed firewall. Firewall architecture and network access policy for the customer designed using guidance from CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team).
Server Backup - optional
When dedicated hardware is virtualised by iSERVE or a virtual server is deployed Server Backup can be deployed where iSERVE makes an image copy of complete server, its OS and state. Images are stored within on-site and offsite storage locations as selected by customer. Depending on customer application deployment Server Backup will include a system suspension or shutdown and restart. In the event of a server failure, iSERVE is responsible for delivering its 1-Hour Server promise, at no charge, and restoring the server from the most recent image on file.
Onsite Storage - optional
A network connection between customer's server and iSERVE onsite storage is established, with an allocation of secure storage, scalable on demand.
Offsite Backup - optional
An automated daily process is deployed to transfer all of customer's Onsite storage/backup data to a secure offsite storage facility. Offsite storage is scalable on demand.
Dedicated Hardware platform - optional
iSERVE sources customer specific hardware and configures to customer specification. This may include traditional dedicated server deployments without virtual technology.
